" Chase the ace'
'Chase the Ace,' aims to challenge its audience, putting them in the shoes of two young, entrepreneurially minded brothers on a mission to free a third brother from capture following a deal gone south. Forced to rely on their innate street savvy and self-taught entrepreneurial skill set, the two brothers devise a clever scheme to free their brother.
Nicholas Avenue was born and raised in New York City, drawn to acting from an early age. He grew up within the world of entertainment as a child, finding plenty of opportunities to express himself creatively and honed what would eventually become his craft and obsession.
Nicholas has made a name for himself in the industry with his versatility and ability to become the embodiment of any character he takes on.
A number of Nicholas’ films have been screened throughout American cinemas and the festival circuit. In 2015, he appeared in the film Underwater, shot in Montreal, delivering a noteworthy performance exuding masculinity, superiority, dominance, and inner struggle.
Outside of film, Nicholas has appeared in national commercials for Audi, Nikon, and hosted a presentation for the Nintendo company at the 2016 E3 Conference in Los Angeles, revealing the company’s upcoming projects. He has also collaborated with international brands, such as Oreo, Ragu, and Macy’s throughout his career.
Having been coached by a number of widely-respected teachers, including Larry Moss, Karl Bury, Paul Calderon, and Tanya Berezin, Nicholas has been able to further his skills as an actor and learn how to mold himself into any character that comes his away. In addition, he is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Institute of Theater and Film and tries to live a grounded life; staying in shape by studying and practicing Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, and Goju Ryu Karate. As a black belt, he is able to instruct and train others in martial arts. Ambitious and driven, Nicholas hopes to combine his passion for the martial arts with his love for drama, eventually making his mark on the worlds of theatre, film, and television.
